A must for Taiwan and Japan railway fans: Collect stamps and explore energizing spots

To promote social and business development between Japan and Taiwan, the “Crossing Taiwan and Japan: Railway Stamp Rally,” which lasted about a year starting in August 2015, successfully boosted tourism exchanges between the two regions and received an overwhelmingly positive response from participants. As a result, the second edition was decided for 2017.

The second edition of the event takes the theme of visiting energizing spots, allowing participants to explore representative energizing locations in Taiwan and Japan. Participating organizations have also placed stamps at stations near these energizing spots, offering travelers the joy of collecting stamps while exploring these inspiring sites.

The following stations have stamps available: Seibu Railway’s Seibu Chichibu Station (Mitsumineguchi, Yokoze, Higashi-Murayama), Keihin Kyuko Electric Railway’s Misakiguchi Station (Shirasuna, Shōnan, Inamuragasaki), and Tobu Railway’s Numazu Station (Izu, Mishima), Shin-Fuji Station (Fuji, Fuji-Q Highland), Omiya Station (Saitama, Saitama Super Arena), and Minami-Yono Station (Omiya Park, Saitama City Hall), totaling 10 stations (spot names in parentheses).

By collecting stamps from any 5 out of the 11 participating stations (2 in Taiwan + 3 in Japan or 3 in Taiwan + 2 in Japan) (※Note: Hon-Kawagoe Station and Kawagoe Station share the same spot, so only one needs to be collected), you can exchange for a limited-edition 2,500 “original bottle bag” at the “Taiwan Railways Dream Factory Flagship Store” at Taipei Main Station’s West Exit 3, or at the “Keihin Kyuko Passenger Service Center” on the 2nd floor of Haneda Airport International Terminal Station on the Keikyu Line (hereafter referred to as “Keikyu TIC”). Additionally, those who collect all 10 stamps (※Note: Hon-Kawagoe Station and Kawagoe Station share the same spot, so only one needs to be collected) will receive a raffle postcard for a chance to win special gifts provided by each participating organization.
