Although the weather is gradually warming up and cherry blossom season is coming to an end, Taiwan still has many beautiful colors waiting for you to discover. For example, in March, the light pinkish-purple wisteria flowers begin to bloom, along with the picturesque, golden-bright tabebuia trees, and the evergreen green tunnels that remain lush all year round, allowing nature to adorn this beautiful land with vibrant hues.

Wisteria Coffee Garden (formerly known as Cuckoo Clock European Garden)

In March, besides admiring the delicate pink cherry blossoms, another equally enchanting sight awaits — “wisteria flowers.” Their cascading clusters hang like purple wind chimes, creating a truly poetic scene. The wisteria flowering period lasts about 1–2 months. Scattered blooms have already started appearing, and the Wisteria Coffee Garden in Tamsui is extremely popular during this season. The garden is divided into two main areas, covering a total of 3,000 ping, with a 300-meter-long purple floral tunnel that is absolutely captivating.

Hualien Fuyuan Junior High School

In March, a wave of “yellow flower fever” swept across Taiwan. However, due to weather conditions, the blooming of yellow tabebuia trees this year hasn't been as impressive as in previous years. Even so, many tabebuia trees have only recently begun to bloom. Hidden along Provincial Highway 9 in Hualien lies a secret yellow tabebuia grove. Covering nearly 6 hectares, golden tabebuia trees line both sides of the Xingquan Water Channel, stretching about 100 meters, with the lush Central Mountain Range forming a stunning backdrop. No matter how you shoot it, the scenery is incredibly poetic. The blooming period is expected to last until mid-April.

Pingtung Slin Green Tunnel

Also known as the Slin Walking Trail, the Slin Green Tunnel is located in Chaozhou Township, Pingtung County, near the Eight Great Forests Amusement Park, and stretches 1.2 kilometers in length. Walking through the tunnel, you can enjoy the scent of fresh grass and trees. Over 500 small-leaved fig trees on both sides create a cool environment in summer and warmth in winter, offering shade from the sun while remaining pleasantly cool. It has become a new favorite walking spot for Pingtung residents. For those who want to exercise while breathing in phytoncides, why not take a trip to the Slin Green Tunnel and experience the beautiful sight of sunlight filtering through the trees?
