Every year around April and May in spring and summer, fireflies appear in large numbers, and paulownia flowers begin to bloom gradually, making many ecologically rich campgrounds across Taiwan lively. Located in Miaoli, Feiying Farmstead sits amidst lush green mountains on three sides, with a babbling brook running through a quiet valley, offering a serene environment. The farmstead boasts abundant flora and fauna resources. From mid-March to November each year, it’s the ideal season for camping and firefly viewing. Visitors can explore ancient trails, spot monkeys, listen to birds, admire fireflies, catch shrimp in wild streams, as well as enjoy tea chats, water play, and sunset watching. In spring and autumn, besides fireflies dancing by mountain streams that light up the entire valley, seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms and paulownia blossoms also bloom vibrantly, creating a relaxing atmosphere—making it a great spot for events, get-togethers with friends, and family fun.
