Known as the “granary of Miaoli,” Yuanli Township ranks first in the county in terms of rice cultivation area, with rice as its primary crop. The Yuanli Township Farmers’ Association has created painted rice fields that highlight the diversity of rice colors and also make Yuanli a tourism highlight. This year, the association has featured the Formosan clouded leopard as the main design, aiming to raise awareness about its conservation. This year’s venue is located next to Love Orchard and will be open for viewing from5the6month of6until the end of the month. Currently, the rice fields are taking shape, displaying the beautiful Formosan clouded leopard design. This year, they have specially constructed a new viewing platform using shipping containers and designed visitor routes to alleviate traffic congestion.
