New Green Architecture Landmark: Steel and Bamboo Municipal Building

As environmental awareness gradually rises and becomes more widespread, the world is embracing new green architecture. These energy-efficient, low-carbon buildings, which balance stylish design with eco-friendly concepts, are slowly replacing traditional ideas. Located in Vietnam, a renowned green architecture firm Vo Trong Nghia Architects is known for using bamboo as a primary building material. In 2015, they designed two lushly planted municipal buildings, the Green City Hall, for Bac Ninh Province in northern Vietnam. The design uses vegetation to convey the concept of greening while also embodying the local government's commitment to energy conservation and carbon reduction.
