The snow-white tung blossom season is gradually drawing to a close, so visitors should hurry to admire the blossoms blanketing the mountains. Shuangfeng Mountain in Miaoli is one of the must-visit spots during the annual tung blossom season. Besides hiking to enjoy the blossoms, you can also admire the golden-yellow acacia trees. The vibrantly blooming acacias, glowing golden, cover the mid-to-low elevation mountain ranges, refusing to let the snow-white tung blossoms steal the spotlight. The following photos were taken at Shuangfeng Mountain, where you can also find other scenic spots. Here, you can take in the natural beauty, enjoy panoramic views, and capture photos of both the tung blossoms and the nearby landscapes.

Acacia trees, also known as Taiwan acacia, have delicate and dense foliage. From afar, entire groves of acacia look like piles of green clouds. Their flowering season runs from April to June, featuring spherical inflorescences similar to those of mimosa, formed by many tiny flowers clustered into small round balls, vibrant and golden.
