Let’s gather a few friends for a light bicycle trip~
That’s right, Mei today wants to share a relaxing little journey with everyone!!
It’ll leave you feeling super energized for work on Monday after a fun two-day weekend. This trip lets us slow down, relax, and enjoy ourselves freely. Let’s start from the famous West Bay in Kaohsiung!!

We arrived at West Bay to check out Kaohsiung’s famous West Bay sights. The old man was busy taking photos while Mei enjoyed the scenery. The bay has a different vibe during the day, and as the sun sets in the evening, West Bay takes on yet another kind of beauty. The sunset here is one of Kaohsiung’s Eight Scenic Spots. With fishing boats coming and going, their lights shining under the setting sun, it creates a truly unique view. Let’s continue following the old man’s lens and move on.

A friend said: When you come to West Bay, you absolutely must walk up to the British Consulate. There are quite a few stairs, but for the sake of this beautiful view, Mei climbed up with effort~

Finally, we made it up—feeling a bit tired, but totally worth it. We finally got to see the British Consulate in all its glory. Let’s go explore and take some photos!!
The following is information about Taiwan’s currently existing Western-style buildings. The Takao British Consulate and Official Residence are the oldest. Many tourists who come to West Bay also make the climb up here—it’s also a historic landmark.
