From now until June 26, Eslite Bookstore is hosting the “Ideal Stationery” exhibition. Explore the ideal relationship and private memories between stationery and people, peek into the hidden personalities of stationery enthusiasts through usage habits, and finally take apart the stationery to uncover the secrets behind the creation of ideal stationery.
In addition to exciting exhibition areas such as artisan out-of-print stories, essential tools for stationery professionals, the Stationery Walk of Fame, the Stationery Medical Report, and 20 “Why Stationery?” displays, this “Ideal Stationery” event also features these five must-see highlights!

CHALKBOY has created the complete visuals for Eslite Bookstore’s “Ideal Stationery” exhibition and has also depicted seven vivid scenes of “ideal stationery in use,” marking his largest collaboration project in Taiwan to date. Having previously worked at a café in Osaka, Japan, CHALKBOY discovered the joy of chalk drawing while drawing blackboard menus every day. Since then, he gradually embarked on a journey of blackboard art in shops and cafés across Japan. Nowadays, CHALKBOY is no longer limited to chalk and blackboards, but collaborates with various organizations using his distinctive style that blends text and imagery.
CHALKBOY has created the complete visuals for Eslite Bookstore’s “Ideal Stationery” exhibition and has also depicted seven vivid scenes of “ideal stationery in use,” marking his largest collaboration project in Taiwan to date.
