First aerial footage of the brand-new ecological riverside landscape rivaling the Liuchuan Riverbanks

Taiwan’s recent popular new landmark, the “Liuchuan” Blue Ribbon Waterfront, has been transformed from a once heavily polluted and foul-smelling ditch into a hot new attraction in Taichung. In addition to the Liuchuan waterfront, located on Section 2, Xichuan Road, South District, within the Taichung 13th Redevelopment Zone, the city government is also transforming this area as a second Liuchuan project goal — creating a beautiful and captivating ecological landscape channel. The Section 2, Xichuan Road channel is approximately 437 meters long and 40 meters wide. To promote environmental sustainability, referencing the Liuchuan model, a high-quality landscape waterway revitalization project was carried out. Once completed, in addition to enjoying the lush green ecological riverbanks, visitors can also admire the landscape bridge designed with shapes resembling butterfly wings and a heart. Recently, it has attracted numerous tourists for photography, and many believe it can rival the Liuchuan riverside.
