Steven Tseng began conceptualizing the ad content earlier this year, personally overseeing everything from script creativity, auditions, costume fittings, rehearsals, to shooting. He provided guidance on every aspect of scene arrangement and performance, and efficiently shot six videos in just three days. As a first-time director, he especially enjoyed the fresh ideas that emerged from interacting with actors and locations—for instance, when a passerby extra was needed for a scene, he simply played the role himself, creating an unexpected highlight. Though directing unpaid, he got hooked and said filmmaking was too much fun and he wants to try it again.
At the press conference, Selina Ren Jiaxuan showed up to support Steven Tseng. Upon hearing that he cooked noodles himself during the shoot, she shouted as soon as she got on stage, "Brother Cheng, cook us some noodles!" leaving him both amused and touched. Steven Tseng mentioned that he invited Selina to the press conference at very short notice, and she agreed without hesitation. "Our friendship really stood the test." To meet Selina’s expectations, Steven Tseng demonstrated how to cook Zeng's Mixed Noodles on the spot. Selina, who has recently hosted a food show, played the role of sous-chef impressively, earning his admiration. Proudly, Selina said, "I usually do cook at home."

Zeng's Mixed Noodles are an improved version of Guanmiao noodles, using a wavy noodle form pressed from two layers. They undergo one compounding and eight rolling processes. The thinner parts absorb broth well, while the thicker parts are firm and chewy, and the noodles hold up even after prolonged cooking. They are air-dried in indoor sunlight rooms using a medical-grade multi-layer filtration system. Each batch of noodles takes three days to complete. Steven Tseng also revealed for the first time that in the 27 months since their launch, the amount of flour used for Zeng's Mixed Noodles could stack up to 13.4 Taipei 101 towers.
Zeng's Mixed Noodles enjoy astonishing annual sales. Not only are they in high demand domestically, but they are also exported overseas to eight regions including Hong Kong, Macau, Australia, Malaysia, Paraguay, the Philippines, the United States, and Canada. Negotiations are actively underway to expand to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Panama, Vietnam, and Cambodia. Reflecting on the future of Zeng's Mixed Noodles, Steven Tseng said ambitiously, "When people think of Japan, they think of ramen. In the future, we want people to think of Taiwan and think of Zeng's Mixed Noodles."
