It's not just about dinosaurs and elephants—kids love this special summer exhibition.

The ‘Elephant Group Special Exhibition’ is a carefully curated summer showcase by the National Museum of Natural Science, featuring hundreds of exquisite elephant fossil specimens and rare, seldom-seen elephant skeletons, all brought vividly before the audience. Exhibition themes include: “The Rise of Elephants,” “The Many Elephants,” “The True Face of Numbers,” “The Rise and Fall of Elephants,” and “Elephants in Taiwan.”
 

 The replica skeleton of a Palaeoloxodon antiquus in the Sunlight Corridor, along with its authentic fossil used for the model and rare fossils from the collection—normally kept in storage—are being unveiled to the public for the first time in their original form. This is a visual feast of elephant fossils, allowing us to witness the rise and decline of the “elephant group” through the course of evolution, to experience the wealth of knowledge and evolutionary mysteries they bring, and to understand that the “elephant group” needs more of our attention and protection.
