Everyone becomes a pastry chef here! Taiwan’s first “artistic cake” tourist factory opens in Tainan

Want to become a pastry chef? Come to Tainan!“Pittyva Artistic Cake Tourist Factory”is Taiwan’s first tourist factory themed around “artistic cakes.” It allows visitors to observe up close the production processes of cakes, pineapple cakes, and more, and features a DIY pastry classroom where guests can unleash their creativity,and the European-style campus adds an enchanting charm, making it a new pilgrimage spot for girls. Currently in a trial operation phase, it is expected to officially open on Mother’s Day!

The Pittyva Artistic Cake Tourist Factory is located in Jiali District, Tainan City. It is the second tourist factory in this area and the 24th in Tainan. It was established by Binbao Food Enterprise Co., Ltd. Owner Hong Jiabao has been in the baking business for 30 years and hopes to share the taste of happiness with every guest through his self-created brand “Pittyva—beautiful baby.” The factory also collaborates with Taitung University to pass on and cultivate a new generation of talented pastry chefs. It aims to boost local tourism through the establishment of the factory.

The factory is divided into six major exhibition areas: a briefing room, a production viewing corridor, an artistic cake theme hall, a freshly baked section, a product sales area, and a DIY classroom.In addition to showcasing various exquisite pastries and traditional farming tools for visitors to admire and learn about, guests can also experience the fun of baking through hands-on creation. Currently, three DIY themes have been developed: “Creative Cake Decorator,” “Cupcake Molding Fun,” and “Shaped Cookie Baker.” After signing up, professional guides will lead both kids and adults in enjoying quality family time.
