Drink without worry about gaining weight — this shop turns green plums and turmeric into hand-shaken beverages

Located on Yongkang Street in Taipei City, Furongtang Beverage Specialty Store opened in March, featuring drinks that let you “drink without worrying about gaining weight.” The beverages are made with pesticide-free organic green plums and turmeric produced in Taiwan, preserving their pure, natural flavors without any artificial additives.

Green plums and turmeric both help inhibit fat synthesis. In the past, green plums were often extracted into plum essence sold in large bottles, while turmeric was mostly sold as powder. Furongtang has transformed the traditional forms by introducing the “Divine Slim Water” (plum essence) and “Golden Water” (turmeric) drinks, allowing more consumers to enjoy tasty and healthy beverages at affordable prices.

In addition to plum essence and turmeric, another flagship product of Furongtang is “Furong Enzyme,” made with “Noni enzyme.” Noni is grown on Taiwan’s organic farms, naturally pure. Noni is especially beneficial for women's health. The Furong Enzyme has a rich, aromatic taste and is a bestseller in the store. For those who want to try plum essence, turmeric, and noni all at once, the “Multi-Enzyme” drink is the perfect choice.

Furongtang also offers delicious snacks “plums” to pair with its drinks. “Enzyme Plums” are made from organic green plums using traditional methods, offering a chewy and delicious taste. “Almond Milk” and “Almond Tofu” are the signature items of the shop owner, Chen Fengjiao.
