The Universiade concludes successfully; the double-decker bus 831 hero parade draws attention

The Taipei Universiade has concluded successfully, with the Chinese Taipei team securing 26 golds, 34 silvers, and 30 bronzes, the best result in the nation’s Universiade history. Ticket sales for competitions exceeded 80%, also a record high for the event. President Tsai Ing-wen is expected to meet with athlete representatives on the 31st, and at 4 PM, the “Taiwan Heroes Parade” will begin in front of the Presidential Office. The public is welcome to join and share the pride and joy that the Taiwanese athletes have brought to everyone.

To support the “Taiwan Heroes Parade,” six “double-decker sightseeing buses” have been specially deployed to transport the athletes, allowing them to view the streets of Taipei from a higher vantage point while being cheered on by crowds.

Athletes will ride in approximately 20 jeeps and double-decker sightseeing buses for a heroic parade, sharing this glory that belongs to the people of Taiwan. The “Taiwan Heroes Parade” will start in front of the Presidential

Taipei’s double-decker sightseeing bus will carry Taiwan’s heroic athletes in a parade to meet fans, allowing everyone to share in the glory of the champions and follow the starlight. Participants can also pick up special hero-chasing souvenirs. On the day of the Heroes Parade, take a photo that must include: 1. The heroic athlete(s) and 2. The full body of the Taipei double-decker sightseeing bus.
