New Highlight at -15°C Ice Palace: Yeast Baby Snow & Ice Park

Ever since my last visit to Yeast Baby’s Imaginary World in Chiayi, I’ve been keeping an eye on their fan page updates. Then one day while scrolling through my phone, huh—what’s this?
Upon closer inspection, wow—this looks like so much fun!! It’s a -15°C ice adventure, so on the weekend when my husband had time off, we headed straight for Chiayi.

This is the second location of Yeast Baby’s Imaginary World. I was super excited and quickly pulled my husband along because I’d been looking forward to it for so long!! Haha!! Plus, I was fully geared up too!! According to a colleague
who’d been to the one in Taichung, you need to wear a warm coat, long pants, a hat, and gloves to really enjoy yourself inside, so I took all that advice to heart!!

As soon as I stepped inside, I was hit by an intense blast of icy cold. While admiring the artworks, it wasn’t that cold yet, but later I’ll tell you where it gets really chilly.

It’s super tricky to sit on the little cart on the ice blocks, but once you’re on, you really don’t want to get off. Both the person pulling and the person being pulled have a blast—because the puller has to
walk very carefully since it’s slippery, and the rider has to sit steady or they might tip over. That’s what makes it so fun.

Here you can even enjoy a shot of enzyme drink at -15°C—super freezing!!
When we got our drink, we placed the cup on the ice table, and wow—haha, the cup actually started sliding away instantly!!
