Romantic chive blossom fields bloom in Daxi's September Snow season — a limited-time spectacle

As the seasons gradually transition into the crisp early autumn, the stars of the floral displays also begin to change. Around the Mid-Autumn Festival each year, Taoyuan’s Longtan and Daxi are graced with a “September Snow.” The chive flower fields in Daxi have quietly burst into a sea of snowy white, resembling a blanket of snow that forms a magnificent white floral landscape. It attracts many visitors to stop and admire, as well as take photos. Gazing at the vast expanse of chive blossoms, spread like snow across the ground and swaying in the wind, full of a northern ambiance, one can’t help but feel enchanted.

In autumn, chives begin to bloom with their white flowers, and the farming and sales work of farmers also temporarily winds down. The specialized chive-growing areas in Ruiyuan and Zhongxin are blanketed in white, with the swaying little white flowers dancing in the wind as if celebrating the arrival of autumn, marking a festive and joyous occasion like a harvest celebration.

The chive planting area in Daxi Town is about 150 hectares, with 70 hectares concentrated in the specialized chive-growing area of Zhongxinli. Therefore, walking along the streets of Zhongzhuang, you can smell the fragrance of chive blossoms in the air.
