Autumn is the season when Miscanthus flowers bloom. Their beautiful spikes sway gracefully in the wind, standing tall toward the sky. From afar, the entire field resembles silver waves, absolutely stunning. Located at the southern end of Nanjing Railway Station, on the banks of the Bazhang River at the border between Tainan and Chiayi, this hidden paradise of Miscanthus flowers has quietly bloomed. The silvery-white sea of flowers, paired with the sunset by the river and the nearby old Nanjing Iron Bridge, attracts many photography enthusiasts who come here to capture the most beautiful moments.

Miscanthus usually grows along riverbeds and riverbanks, with its flowering period around October to November. In the early stages of blooming, the spikes are red, later turning white and light yellow. It is most commonly found on hillsides and abandoned open areas.
