Asia’s Largest Snoopy: New 3-Meter-Tall Photo Spot in Tainan

A large Snoopy figure, standing 3 meters tall and weighing 100 kilograms, has recently appeared at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi’s Hsimenting branch in Tainan. It is not only the largest Snoopy figure in Taiwan but also across Asia. The figure has taken up a long-term spot alongside the brand's boutique display inside the department store. Since its unveiling, it has drawn crowds and attracted many visitors to take photos and check in.

To create a landmark for the Snoopy flagship boutique, the team applied to the global headquarters of the PEANUTS comic for permission to produce this large Snoopy figure in Taiwan, which now makes its debut in a Tainan department store. Originally a 3D graphic, the figure was hand-carved from Styrofoam, then wrapped in sponge and plush fabric, taking a full month to complete.
