No more burnt meat worries！Lazy auto-rotating barbecue makes its debut in Hsinchu

A camp-themed restaurant called "Jiutie BBQ" has recently opened in the street food district around Hsinchu City Chenghuang Temple. The owner, Ah Long, said that in the past, many barbecue lovers entering a grill restaurant felt like they were facing a formidable challenge, having to constantly watch the grill to avoid accidentally burning premium ingredients. Therefore, Jiutie has specially introduced an automatic rotating skewer grill, letting the mechanical track do the grilling for you so that customers can truly enjoy their meal and time with friends.

Located on Jiangshan Street near the Chenghuang Temple in downtown Hsinchu City, Jiutie BBQ may look no different from other barbecue restaurants from the outside, but the shop has specially brought in an automatic grill. A belt beside the grill rotates the skewer rack, with each skewer automatically flipping on the grill. This ensures that the ingredients are evenly heated on all sides, reducing the chance of burning. Customers no longer need to concentrate solely on grilling, allowing them to enjoy the true pleasure of savoring delicious food.

Owner Ah Long said that the speed of the grill belt has been adjusted to perfectly complement the temperature of the charcoal inside. Customers only need to occasionally brush on some seasoning sauce. If the charcoal drips oil and causes a flame, just remember to move the skewers. After that, you can relax with drinks and conversation, and simply wait for the food to be ready to enjoy.

Jiutie BBQ officially opened on the 11th. To celebrate the launch, the shop is currently offering a special 4-person set meal for NT$1,400. In addition to beef and pork skewers, it also includes filling rice sausages. Most importantly, there are imported oysters offered without concern for cost, king prawns bigger than a child’s arm, angel red shrimp, and a selection of fresh vegetables.
