On September 25 and 26, most parts of Taiwan, as well as Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu, will experience mostly sunny to cloudy weather with high temperatures. In particular, there is a likelihood of temperatures reaching around 37°C in the Greater Taipei area on the 26th. In the afternoon of the 25th, there will be localized brief thunderstorms in central and southern regions and other mountainous areas, while in the afternoon of the 26th, there will be localized brief thunderstorms in southern regions, as well as areas north of central Taiwan and mountainous areas in northeastern Taiwan. From Monday to Wednesday in Taipei City, daytime temperatures will be quite high, possibly reaching up to 37°C, so special attention should be paid to sun protection, heatstroke prevention, and staying hydrated.

Currently, there is a tropical depression with a pressure of 998 hPa located at 20°N, 108°E, in the Gulf of Tonkin, moving northwest at a speed of 15 km/h. A high-pressure system with a pressure of 1016 hPa is located at 23°N, 127°E, over the southern sea area of Ryukyu, with its center nearly stationary.

This weekend, many office workers will need to work on September 30. Starting from Friday, the Taipei-Keelung-New Taipei area will have mostly cloudy weather with brief showers. Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli will be cloudy with rain on Friday, and mostly cloudy on Saturday and Sunday. The Changhua, Nantou, and Yunlin areas will have mostly cloudy weather with brief showers on Saturday and Sunday. The Chiayi, Tainan, and southern mountainous areas will experience unstable weather from Friday to Sunday, with mostly cloudy conditions, brief showers, and even afternoon thunderstorms. The eastern region will also have mostly cloudy weather with brief showers from Friday to Sunday. If you plan to travel this weekend, be sure to carry rain gear.
