The promotion of Brown Bear Bravo as Taipei’s mascot leads to a fan meet-up to boost tourism

Since the conclusion of the Universiade, Brown Bear Bravo has spent several days visiting artisans and participating in internships to generate buzz, and even submitted a résumé to the Taipei City Government. Finally, on September 20, he was officially endorsed by Taipei Mayor Ko Wen-je as the city’s mascot.

To thank fans for their support, Brown Bear Bravo has announced on his official fan page that a fan meet-up will be held on September 26. So far, thousands of fans have signed up to attend, including some who have traveled all the way from Hong Kong just to see Brown Bear Bravo in person.
