Taking the October 23, 2017, exchange rate from Yongfeng Commercial Bank as an example, the buying rate was 0.2611 and the selling rate was 0.2683. With NT$10,000, you could get approximately 37,272 Japanese yen—compared to past rates of 0.28 or 0.29, that’s an extra 1,500 to 2,000 yen. Exchanging NT$50,000 would be like getting an extra Tokyo Disneyland ticket for free!
