TSUTAYA founder and president of Culture Convenience Club Group (CCC), Masuda Muneaki, specially came to Taiwan. In addition to personally attending the bookstore’s opening, he also hosted a symposium. He not only explained his original vision when founding the business in 1983, but also conveyed his ambition to discover future lifestyles for consumers.

The TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE Songshan Station Front Store covers an area of 84.4 pyeong. In addition to natural wood furniture and books, the space is filled with the rich aroma of coffee. This is TSUTAYA BOOKSTORE’s first street-front store in Taiwan, continuing the successful model of Japan’s Tsutaya Bookstore. It also draws on the experience of over 1,500 physical stores of the CCC Group in Japan and data analysis from 60 million users, perfectly replicating the concept at the Songshan No. 2 Store. The opening specially introduced exclusive products from the privately developed Ginza Tsutaya Bookstore.
