Taoyuan’s new attraction, the “Xinxikou Suspension Bridge,” took over three years of planning, reconstruction, and renovation before opening for reservations and official use in January. The bridge spans 303 meters, making it the longest suspension bridge in Taiwan. The original Xikou Suspension Bridge was demolished due to aging infrastructure in 2015 and replaced with the new bridge, which connects Jiaobanshan and Xikou Plateau, spanning the Dahan River.

The bridge began accepting reservation registrations from the afternoon of January 6th, with on-site ticket collection, and officially opened on January 13th alongside the “2018 Luofu Hot Spring Food Festival.” The bridge has a daily limit of 2,800 visitors. Adult tickets are NT$100, while discounted tickets are NT$70. Those eligible for free entry must make prior reservations.
