Mandarin Café finally launches an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet — new Japanese cuisine section added

Mandarin Café (Café Un Deux Trois) at Mandarin Oriental Taipei, following its weekend Lunch Fresh 'Eat' Bar and the Evening Feast. Eat. Bar, is set to introduce an all-you-can-eat weekday lunch buffet starting January 2, 2018, priced at TWD 1,580 + 10% per person. With the addition of the lunchtime slot, Mandarin Café appears to have officially transformed into an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant.

In addition to a variety of appetizers and a salad bar featuring seasonal vegetables, the “Mandarin Café Lunch Feast. Eat. Bar” offers a selection of signature dishes from around the world curated by the chef. These include steamed lemon bass in Thai style, American-style spice salmon with seafood cheddar sauce, classic French dish veal stewed in white wine and butter, Provençal-style stewed vegetables, rich and flavorful Italian spaghetti bolognese, made-to-order Hainanese chicken rice, and Taiwanese pork belly rice, among others.

Aside from classic dishes from around the world, the Japanese cuisine section is a brand-new highlight of the Mandarin Café Lunch Feast 'Eat' Bar. It features freshly prepared nigiri and chirashi sushi made with premium ingredients, as well as refreshing soba noodles and a variety of traditional Japanese pickles.

For dessert, the dessert bar offers over 10 exquisite and beautifully presented sweet treats, all crafted under the leadership of the hotel’s French executive pastry chef, Guillaume Doyen. Must-tries include matcha chocolate cake, raspberry éclairs, pistachio cherry pound cake, chocolate brownies, strawberry tarts... and more.
