Universal Studios Japan announced that it will adjust ticket prices from the end of January 2018, with one-day passes increasing by 300 yen—from the current 7,400 yen to 7,900 yen. This marks the ninth consecutive year that Universal Studios Japan has raised its ticket prices.

Starting from January 31, 2018, one-day, two-day, and tickets for people with disabilities at Universal Studios Japan will all be subject to price increases. The adult one-day pass will rise by 300 yen from 7,400 yen to 7,900 yen, the child ticket will go up from 5,100 yen to 5,400 yen, and the senior ticket will increase from 6,830 yen to 7,100 yen, up by 270 yen.

The two-day pass sees a larger increase, with the adult ticket rising from 12,800 yen to 13,400 yen—an increase of 600 yen—and the child ticket increasing from 8,620 yen to 9,000 yen. Universal Studios Japan stated that this pricing adjustment is part of their plan to develop new attractions and provide better amusement experiences worldwide.
