Cathay Pacific has launched the “Global Pass” discounted flight package, allowing travelers to freely choose between a combination of 3 round-trip economy class short-haul flights for NT$13,800, with options including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia; a combo of 2 short-haul + long-haul round-trip economy class tickets for NT$20,800, with options that include Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia + Australia, India, the Middle East, and South Africa; or a combo of 2 short-haul + long-haul round-trip economy class tickets for NT$29,800, with options that include Hong Kong, Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia + Europe, the United States, Canada, and New Zealand. The ticket prices do not include fuel surcharges and airport taxes.

However, it’s important to note that this “Global Pass” discounted flight package is only available for purchase between March 1 and March 15, 2013, with travel dates ranging from March 1 to November 30. Also, you’ll need to book your seats as soon as possible after purchasing to secure travel during peak seasons or popular holidays. Travelers with plans to go abroad this year may want to take a look.
