The owner of the estate, Lai Yuanhuang, is a young entrepreneur who returned to his hometown at age 26. He established the homestay restaurant in 2002 (the 91st year of the Republic of China), and it wasn’t until five years ago that he purchased the adjacent land to expand it into an estate. The over 3,000-ping area features mostly green lawns, and the playful addition of a rainbow jumping horse adds a whimsical feel to the space.
