BiYang Plaza breaks through the boundaries of traditional retail channels. In July this year, it expanded from New Taipei City to Zhengxing Street in Tainan, setting up Tainan’s first container market with 15 brands. Covering an area of 240 ping and featuring 13 containers (each approximately 4.4 ping), it includes the world’s smallest versions of the National Palace Museum, Eslite Bookstore, Levi’s, TOUGH, Superdry, and four trendy fashion brands—MAISON PROMAX. To welcome the new year, limited-time promotions are being held from now until January 1 next year.
At the container market, you can also find cultural, creative, and lifestyle goods at Shi Art and BiYang Selections, as well as WEAVISM Textileism—an innovative brand from a local Tainan textile factory—plus popular food spots like Xiu’an Flatbed Tofu and Xiang Cha. This aligns with the “explore alleys and browse small shops” travel experience of the nearby historic neighborhood.
During the event period, designated items at Eslite Youth Store are 50% off; the National Palace Museum’s “My Citrus Shop” offers tiered gift promotions—spend NT$500 to receive a neck strap with the Palace Museum’s chronological timeline; Shi Art offers a NT$100 discount for every NT$1,000 spent (excluding discounted or special-price items); BiYang Selections has a 30% discount on all snack items (including canned sodas), and MiBON is buy-one-get-one-free.
TOUGH Jeansmith apparel is 50% off, accessories 40% off; Superdry has a storewide 30% discount; Levi’s is buy-one-get-one-free; MAISON PROMAX accessories get NT$200 off when spending NT$1,000 or more; WEAVISM products are on special starting from NT$300; Xiang Cha offers Panda Milk Tea (second cup for NT$20, same size and temperature) daily between 3:00–4:00 PM; Mitsui Kumiko’s Japanese spring roll gift boxes are buy-one-get-one-free.
