The Guam Tourism Board is sparing no effort in promoting tourism. In addition to showcasing local attractions at today’s press conference, it also announced that the 6th Guam International Marathon will take place on April 8, 2018. Taiwanese travelers are welcome to join in the fun.

The 2018 Guam International Marathon features multiple race categories including 5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon. Participants can take in Guam’s stunning coastal scenery while running and enjoy the cool breeze on their faces under the starry sky. This year, the event has partnered with domestic travel agencies such as Lion Travel, Southeast Travel, and Pacific Islands International Travel Service to offer themed travel packages, allowing visitors to fully experience Guam’s local charm.

China Airlines noted the travel opportunities in Guam and announced that starting March 2018, it will add a Sunday flight route between Taipei and Guam. China Airlines will operate flights five days a week with morning departures and afternoon returns, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft to provide greater convenience for travelers planning their trips.

Located south of the Mariana Islands, Guam covers an area of approximately 550 square kilometers with a total population of around 170,000. The island is renowned for its rich tropical forest landscapes. Visitors can enjoy a variety of experiences here, including diving, whale watching, exploring Chamorro culture, and shopping at high-end malls and duty-free boutiques — all in one destination.
