To welcome the New Year, EVA Air will introduce a variety of new in-flight meals and service items. The airline has also partnered with a renowned dessert bakery brand to launch new sweets, allowing passengers to enjoy a delightful afternoon tea during the flight. Additionally, new pajamas designed by the well-known fashion brand APUJAN, updated sleep amenities for Premium Economy Class, and a redesigned beverage menu created in collaboration with acclaimed design firm JL Design will all be rolled out starting in January.

Starting January 2018, EVA Air will offer a new “Cold-Pressed Fresh Mango Mixed Juice” in Royal Laurel Class, Laurel Class, and Business Class. Its unique sweet-and-sour taste is full of Taiwanese flavor. For meals, EVA Air has collaborated with the century-old French bakery and patisserie brand PAUL to provide pound cakes made from exclusively contracted winter wheat on flights returning from Hong Kong to Taiwan (excluding BR828/852/856), with flavors changing monthly. In addition, EVA Air has partnered with renowned patisserie SEASON to introduce a new dessert, the White Hill (Neige) cake, on long-haul Royal Laurel Class routes—this is a reimagined version of the traditional French strawberry cake.

For the beverage and menu designs, EVA Air has specially collaborated with renowned design firm JL Design. With the concept “The best season is the season to go home” (HOME FOR EVERY SEASON), the design conveys that EVA Air is a warm and comfortable home for travelers in the sky, and that Taiwan can be a home for all travelers. It integrates Taiwan’s seasonal fruits and vegetables, connecting the world and Taiwan through local characteristics.

Starting January 2018, EVA Air’s Elite Class will be renamed Premium Economy Class, and the in-flight sleep amenities will be fully upgraded. The new blankets are sewn with washable cotton, featuring two different fabrics on each side, with brushed cotton and short plush materials to enhance overall comfort. The new pillows have also been enlarged in size, paired with unique printed pillowcases to give passengers a refreshed feeling. Additionally, the pajamas and slippers for Royal Laurel Class and Laurel Class, co-designed with fashion brand APUJAN, will come in new colors. The designs feature a blue color scheme with two patterns: a grid symbolizing an aerial view and straight stripes that deconstruct cloud formations, combining design aesthetics with practicality.
