With low-cost carriers competing for market share and driving down travel costs, more people can now afford to travel abroad more frequently for leisure. To meet rising demand, Tigerair Taiwan has announced numerous flight additions in its summer 2018 schedule starting March 25.
According to Tigerair Taiwan’s flight expansion plan, starting March 25, 2018:“Kaohsiung-Fukuoka route”will increase from 3 to 5 weekly flights;“Kaohsiung-Tokyo Narita”will increase from 2 to 4 weekly flights;“Kaohsiung-Okinawa Naha”will increase from 2 to 5 weekly flights.
“Taipei Taoyuan-Hakodate”will increase from 4 to 5 weekly flights;“Taipei Taoyuan-Kaohsiung”will increase from 6 weekly flights to daily service.

Tigerair Taiwan is also offering early-bird discounts for its 2018 summer schedule, with a third wave of sales reopening on December 27. This promotion includes routes such as Taipei Taoyuan-Daegu, Kaohsiung-Okinawa Naha, and Taipei Taoyuan-Kaohsiung, with untaxed fares starting from NT$999. Additionally, customers can use promo code “ITSUMMER” for an extra 10% discount.
The third wave of summer schedule promotions runs from 10:00 AM on December 27, 2017, to 11:59 PM on December 28, 2017. Routes include: Taipei Taoyuan-Daegu one-way untaxed early-bird promotional fare starting at NT$999; Kaohsiung-Okinawa Naha one-way untaxed early-bird promotional fare starting at NT$1,099; Taipei Taoyuan-Kaohsiung one-way untaxed early-bird promotional fare starting at NT$1,199.

Tigerair Taiwan also offers promo code “ITSUMMER,” which provides an additional 10% discount if a strikethrough price and a lower fare appear in search results. Customers who miss out on early-bird deals can still enjoy discounted prices using the promo code.
Remaining unsold routes are expected to go on sale early next year (2018), with promotional travel periods from March 25 to October 27, 2018, covering the Qingming holiday, Dragon Boat Festival, summer vacation, and National Day. With proper leave planning, travelers can enjoy consecutive breaks of 3 to 8 days.
Tigerair Taiwan advises that limited quantities of discounted tickets are available and urges customers to act fast. Passengers should prepare passports valid for at least six months and a credit card to book on the Tigerair Taiwan official website (www.tigerairtw.com). Those who miss out on early-bird discounts are encouraged to try again, as discounted fares may still be available using promo codes.
