Universal Studios Japan has announced that it will launch the world's first “Universal Studios Nighttime Spectacular Parade,” featuring a 587-meter-long light projection, combining light performances, music, and dancer shows, surrounding visitors with a 360-degree movie world. It is expected to debut in 2018.

“Universal Studios’ Nighttime Parade of Wonders” will transform visitors’ expectations of parades. The 587-meter-long parade route features projections that completely envelop the space, showcasing themes led by Harry Potter, as well as Minions, Jurassic World, and Transformers. Guests will be surrounded 360 degrees by the world of movies, almost as if they are actually inside the film scenes. The performance combines cinematic lighting effects, theme music, and dancer performances to deliver a visually stunning parade.

Universal Studios Japan noted that, in addition to a 587-meter-long light projection visible to all visitors along the parade route, there will also be light projections on the parade floats. At the same time, combining Universal Studios’ exclusively developed new technology, it aims to deliver a completely different nighttime experience for global travelers, making it a must-see highlight in 2018.
