Nantou Caotun’s Taiwan Times Village suddenly announced it will cease operations on December 31, 2017 (Year 106)! On the evening of the 20th, the village posted on Facebook, thanking everyone for five years of support, but due to a severe decline in business, they have decided to close.However, while announcing its closure, the Taiwan Era Village welcomes interested operators to get in touch.

Baodao Times Village was founded on June 30, 2012. Starting from the night market culture as the starting point of the era's memories, it starts from humanistic care, local characteristics, and rural customs. There are retro places and buildings such as military dependents' villages, Hakka villages, indigenous tribes, Zhushan Station, and Sanheyuan banquet halls. It was once a popular check - in tourist attraction. However, the founder Jiang Qinliang was recently arrested on suspicion of a farmers' association loan fraud case. He was released on bail of 10 million NT dollars on October 27. Baodao Times Village believes that the relevant media reports have caused a serious decline in business.
