Cherry blossoms are here: Top cherry blossom spots in Taiwan – Alishan
Spring has arrived and it’s once again cherry blossom season. Aside from Japan and South Korea,Taiwanalso boasts many wonderful places to enjoy cherry blossoms. This time, the Fever Photography Travel Channel introduces the well-known Alishan.

Alishan National Scenic Area, covering a total area of approximately 41,520 hectares, spans four townships: Fanlu, Zhushan, Meishan, and Alishan. It is most famous for its natural beauty, including sea of clouds, sunrises, and sunsets. Every spring, it attracts a large number of visitors who come to witness the breathtaking sight of cherry blossoms covering the mountains.
The cherry blossoms here come in various varieties, with the Yoshino cherry being the most abundant, boasting over 1,900 trees, followed byTaiwanmountain cherries and eight-petaled cherries, making it a rare and wonderful destination for cherry blossom viewing. This year, the Alishan cherry blossom season will run from March 10 to April 10 — don’t miss it if you’re interested.
