Golden trumpet flowers showcase vitality — beautiful Tainan in the sunshine

To promote Tainan’s golden trumpet flower season, boost tourism development, and preserve the most beautiful moments of the season, allowing visitors to experience the charm of Tainan’s "back garden," the Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau specially organized the “2013 Tainan Golden Trumpet Flower Season Photography Competition.” Entries were accepted starting June 1, and after three weeks, submissions closed on June 24, with nearly 700 works received in total.

After hours of discussion and selection, the judges chose 3 top prize-winning works from numerous entries — by Chen Zhengwei, Huang Lianchun, and Lin Shiming — along with 15 merit award entries. The winning works fully express the beauty of Taiwan’s land, with the golden trumpet flowers captured under sunlight showcasing extraordinary vitality that is truly captivating.

The Tainan City Government Tourism Bureau also stated that the awarded works from this photography competition will be widely used in future event marketing and promotional efforts to highlight Tainan’s flower season tourism. The carefully taken photos by the winners will be featured across various promotional materials, preserving the most radiant moments of the golden trumpet flower season through the lens and allowing more people to witness the beauty of Tainan.
