Drink beer, enjoy rock music – The Kaohsiung Beer Festival features fiery performances by 15 hot girl bands

The Kaohsiung Beer Festival kicks off on the 19th and runs for three consecutive days at Dream Mall in Kaohsiung. This year, over 15 hot girl rock bands will put on electrifying performances. Acts include bands like Wan Fu, Girl, and Robot, “Party King” MC HotDog, internet idols Annier and Guo Shu Yao, as well as powerhouse vocalists A-Lin and Wei Ruoyun, making it one of the hottest events in southern Taiwan this week.

Aside from high-energy music and dance, this year’s beer festival has invited 10 top international beer brands to set up their own branded color-themed pubs, along with dance parties and beer competitions. As part of the beer festival’s debut event, the “Beer Pairing Dishes Cooking Competition,” the winning shops—A Up Ha Lu Wei, Tseng Ji Qiao Kou Lu Wei Fang, He Bian Xiang Jiao Ma Tou, A Cheng Xian Xia Huntun Yan Shui Yi Mian, and Sun Jia Xiao Guan—will also set up stalls at the festival’s food court during the event.

The 2013 7-ELEVEN Kaohsiung Beer Festival, jointly organized by the Kaohsiung City Government Department of Economic Development and 7-Eleven, will run for three days from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM daily, with tickets priced at NT$250 per person per day.
