Haidilao Banqiao Branch 2, a hot pot restaurant known for its exceptional service, has officially confirmed its location at Banqiao’s Big City Mall. The latest update is that trial operations are expected to start on May 24. As for the third branch in Taichung and the fourth in Hsinchu, their opening times are scheduled for the end of September and the end of August respectively — notably, the Hsinchu branch will open even earlier than the Taichung one.

In addition to branch opening information, there has been recent consumer feedback in Taiwan about a company that resembles Haidilao, claiming to be its second brand. The products and logo were so similar that they were nearly indistinguishable from the real thing. Haidilao has issued a stern statement clarifying that, aside from the four directly operated stores already contracted in Taipei City, Banqiao, Taichung, and Hsinchu, there are currently no other subsidiaries or sub-brands in Taiwan.
