Symphony of Happiness Night – Free Admission to the Water Park During Christmas Season

Taipei Water Department is spreading holiday cheer this Christmas season. On December 24th, the Water Park will host the “2017 Gongguan Christmas Festival,” offering free admission to the public. The highlight of the event is a grand Christmas concert featuring renowned wind music maestro Professor Yeh Shu-han and the National Taiwan Normal University Wind Orchestra, who will bring a joyful and heartwarming Christmas Eve to all.

According to the Taipei Water Department, the Gongguan Christmas Festival has entered its 7th edition. On the 24th, the park will offer free entry all day, and starting at 6 PM, a large-scale concert themed “Symphony of Happiness Night” will take place, headlined by the NTNU Wind Orchestra. The opening performances include kid-favorite dance-alongs with big brothers and sisters, captivating magic shadow shows, the miraculous “Dancing Christmas Dance,” and bubble performances. The Water Museum in the park, adorned with a Baroque style, will also be dressed in beautiful colors and patterns that evening, spreading the romantic and joyful festive atmosphere throughout the entire venue.

The Taipei Water Department also noted that starting at 4 PM on the day of the event, various activities such as “Photo Love Sharing” and “Donate Receipts for Charity” will be held in the park. Holiday decorations will remain in the park until the end of this month (December 31st), and during this period, the park will extend its opening hours until 8 PM every Friday to Sunday.
