The internet-famous "French handmade desserts in the deep night" are no longer only available during the day. Recently, they teamed up with CoffeeV to create an exclusive product, the "Passion Orange Éclair," paired with a hot latte at a combo price of NT$198. Starting December 18, it will be available in limited quantities daily from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The Passion Orange Éclair features a specially crafted tropical, sweet-and-sour passion fruit filling by Deep France, paired with dark chocolate dacquoise, resulting in a richly textured éclair.

"French Handmade Desserts in the Deep Night" is a super-popular online dessert. Before the physical store opened, customers had to make reservations in advance and wait until midnight to pick them up. The French handmade dessert physical store officially opened on August 28, 2017, regularly offering a selection of tarts, madeleines, financiers, dacquoise, and meringue cookies. Its operating hours are from 4:00 PM to midnight.

As for the reason for opening a physical store, Chef Rick said he hopes more people can enjoy Deep France’s desserts. The Deep France Facebook page has 750,000 followers, but perhaps only one-tenth of them have tried the desserts. He wants the other nine-tenths who haven’t to have the chance as well. Although a physical store has been opened, business hours start at 4:00 PM. It turns out that Rick insists on making everything fresh daily—the first batch of pastries isn’t ready until at least 4:00 PM. However, compared to other dessert shops, Deep France’s physical store serves desserts until midnight.
