The Yellow Duck will meet the public in Kaohsiung during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday. The Kaohsiung City Agriculture Bureau has specially combined the Jade Wax Apple Beer Festival with the duck, launching three packaged tour itineraries that connect the duck exhibition venue at Glory Pier, E-Da World, and the recently popular Triumph Night Market. Visitors can enjoy generous sips of Jade Wax Apple beer while admiring the Yellow Duck, exploring all corners of Greater Kaohsiung, with one-day tours starting as low as NT$399.

The Jade Wax Apple Beer Festival will take place from the 19th to the 22nd during the Mid-Autumn holiday. The Agriculture Bureau has selected the Old Railway Iron Bridge Wetlands Park to offer free tastings of Jade Wax Apple draft beer and samples of Jade Wax Apple sausages and cured pork. During the event, singers such as Dai Ai-ling, Yen Chiu, and Show Lo will also perform in rotation. The Agriculture Bureau, in collaboration with tourism operators, has launched three themed package tours: “The Duck’s Blushing,” “The Jade Wax Apple’s Blush,” and “Blushing and Tipsy.” The prices are affordable, starting as low as NT$399 and going up to just NT$799.

The Agriculture Bureau stated that beer brewed locally with Jade Wax Apples is sweet, fresh, and lingering. This year, they have added a beer competition. The "Thousand People Toast" event scheduled for the 15th at Hanshin Department Store has already sold out online, but 200 on-site spots will be available for free participation.
