Can you see ghosts in the daytime? To celebrate Halloween, Hong Kong Ocean Park will hold the “Haunt Up Festival All-Day” from October 1 to 31, transforming the park into the largest magical pumpkin-themed ocean park in Hong Kong. Staff will also dress up as all kinds of monsters and ghosts, immersing visitors in a spooky and thrilling atmosphere even during the day.

Highly acclaimed by the global theme park and attractions industry, Hong Kong Ocean Park’s annual Halloween event has attracted over one million visitors in the past 12 years, making it an annual cultural highlight in Hong Kong. This year, the park is breaking tradition by launching the “Haunt Up Festival All-Day” for the first time. Both adults and children can join the biggest Halloween celebration in Hong Kong with just one ticket on 17 designated dates throughout October, from morning till night.

In addition to the classic scary haunted houses, daytime visitors can also enjoy a rich Halloween atmosphere. Not only will all park staff be dressed as various ghosts and monsters to serve guests, but this year also introduces a variety of family-friendly interactive ghost games, such as “Ghost Ring Toss to Test Your Skills,” the “Ghost Face Makeup Room” where you can join the ghostly crew, and the “Halloween Headwear DIY Workshop” where you can become a little “ghost” head — perfect for the whole family to get in the spooky spirit.

Pumpkins are an indispensable star of Halloween, and this year Hong Kong Ocean Park presents the “Haunt Up Spooky Show.” Not only will pumpkin monsters don colorful and funny outfits, inviting families to sing and dance together, but while you’re exploring the attractions, watch out — someone nearby might suddenly get “possessed,” leading everyone into the lively “Zombie Attack Mega Mashup,” taking the festive Halloween vibe to the max.
