Typhoon Usagi, bringing strong winds and heavy rain, has hit Taiwan and is considered the second strongest typhoon in the past 20 years. Domestic airlines have issued notices regarding affected flights. Earlier, EVA Air and Uni Air stated that although international flights on the 21st will operate as scheduled, some domestic flights will be canceled due to the typhoon.

Uni Air announced that the following domestic flights on September 21 will be canceled: “Taipei-Taitung round-trip flights, B7─851, 852, 853, 854 before noon (12:00), and B7─652 from Magong to Tainan.” Other routes and flights will operate normally, but adjustments may be made at any time depending on weather conditions. Passengers are advised to confirm their flight status before heading to the airport. EVA Air and Uni Air will continue to release the latest updates.
