Typhoon Usagi affects flights; Cathay Pacific and Dragonair cancel Hong Kong flights after 6 PM on Sept 22

Typhoon Usagi is moving away, but international flights remain affected. Cathay Pacific and Dragonair have announced that, due to the impact of Super Typhoon Usagi, all Cathay Pacific flights departing from or arriving at Hong Kong International Airport after 6 PM on Sunday (Sept 22) will be canceled.

Cathay Pacific and Dragonair stated that due to severe weather and operational constraints, flight services on Sept 23 may still be affected. If weather conditions permit, they will gradually resume flight services starting Monday (Sept 23). They also reminded passengers that the airline will cover all rebooking fees. This measure applies to tickets issued on or before Sept 20 for flights departing between Sept 22 and 24.
