Limited-time Winter Solstice pop-up with only 30 servings: Special edition Shiba Inu Manager Red Bean Tangyuan to appear at Yifu Ice Desserts

A cute "Shiba Inu" floating on top of milk tea — this is the "Manager Fresh Milk Tea" from the recently Instagram-famous Mr. Yutian’s Hand-Brewed Beverage Bar. Now, the Shiba Inu Manager has a new project: on December 22, Winter Solstice, the Manager will make a special pop-up appearance at Yifu Ice Desserts in Zhonghe, launching a limited-edition "Manager Red Bean Tangyuan." The Shiba Inu Manager will be resting atop a warm purple rice and red bean soup with creamy milk foam, accompanied by classic red and white mini tangyuan.

The Manager Red Bean Tangyuan will only be available on December 22, Winter Solstice, with a limited run of 30 servings. Each serving costs NT$170 and will go on sale at 5:00 PM at Yifu Ice Desserts, while supplies last. Meanwhile, the Manager Fresh Milk Tea from Mr. Yutian’s Hand-Brewed Beverage Bar will continue to be available as usual.

The Manager Fresh Milk Tea features a marshmallow shaped like the Manager himself on top. The milk tea below is made using estate-assam black tea, which retails at NT$4,000 per kilogram, topped with freshly whipped milk foam. The marshmallow quickly melts when placed in the drink and slowly sinks, so those wanting photos should act fast. The Shiba Inu-shaped marshmallow looks like it’s taking a bath on the tea, and different sinking styles create various adorable looks, attracting many visitors for photos and check-ins.

Yifu Ice Desserts is a fruit-themed dessert shop co-founded by two young owners, Xiao Zhu and A-Kai. Xiao Zhu’s family has a background in the fruit business, while A-Kai’s family runs a shaved ice shop. Combining their “expertise,” the duo created their own unique fruit ice dessert shop. The "Yifu Special Selection" is a popular signature item, featuring seasonal fruits such as cantaloupe, pineapple, and watermelon. Most of the fruit is blended into juice, while the firmer outer parts are used as containers. This allows diners to enjoy some actual fruit pieces, adding a bit more chewiness than typical fruit desserts. Additionally, you can choose an extra scoop of ice cream, giving you three different fruit experiences in one dish with a rich variety of textures.
