LPGA Taiwan Championship kicks off on the 24th – Dongsen Mountain Forest Hotel offers 50% local guest rate

The 2013 LPGA Taiwan Championship will be held from the 24th to the 27th at the Yangmei Golf Course in Taoyuan County. Dongsen Mountain Forest Hotel in Yangmei provides local services and, from now until November 30, is offering a 50% discount on selected room types for those presenting a tournament ticket stub. The offer starts at just NT$3,400 for two people.

Dongsen Mountain Forest Hotel stated that to serve golfers traveling from afar, they have launched a package that includes tournament tickets, eco-tours, spa services, and drinks featuring Yani Tseng-endorsed nourishing ginseng chicken essence. The package starts at NT$7,600 for two people, with Thai-style BBQ buffet dinner at NT$880 per person, waiving the 10% service charge and including free draft beer.

During the LPGA tournament from October 24 to 27, the hotel will also set up booths at shuttle bus stops and arrange tasting times. Guests are welcome to try signature dishes such as teriyaki sweetfish and soy-braised pork knuckle, with a daily limit of 200 portions.

Dongsen Mountain Forest Hotel is located next to the Yangmei Golf Course. From the famous tree bridge inside the hotel, you can enjoy a distant view of the golf course and catch glimpses of the world’s top players in action. However, hotel staff noted that due to the distance, bringing binoculars is recommended for a better view.
