This specialty store for sashimi and donburi (rice bowls) is highly praised by foodies who say, "You can enjoy sashimi without spending a fortune—it's such great value."

Mr. Ou, 70, said, "I've tried all kinds of sashimi, some of which cost over a thousand NT dollars, but here the fish is fresh and you can eat it for just one or two hundred NT." Mr. Fang, who was dining here for the first time, also commented, "The sashimi here is very thick and especially large—definitely worth the price." Located at No. 1, Section 1, Chongqing South Road, Tsukiji Fresh Fish is a franchise outlet, but the store has its own fish preparation area. The owner explained that fish is delivered daily by the head office, and the staff handle it on-site. Staff member Ms. Chen said, "The boss isn't afraid of customers eating a lot—he just wants them to be satisfied. Here, you get both the thickness and texture of the sashimi you desire."
