Hold your breath!“Zombie Taoist Priest” appears at Yuanshan MRT Station

Remember the scene in the movie “The Serpent and the Rainbow” where zombies in ancient official costumes march in a line, “bouncing” down the street? Today (25th), that actually happened at Yuanshan MRT Station, with a yellow-robed Taoist priest leading the pack, leaving bystanders exclaiming, “That’s terrifying!! What’s going on?”

At Exit 1 of Yuanshan MRT Station in Taipei, six “zombies” in official attire and one “Taoist priest” in a yellow robe made a bizarre appearance. Passersby and station staff were left dumbfounded, and then they started dancing a KUSO (parody) dance, drawing a large crowd of onlookers.

It turns out this flash mob event was a warm-up for the upcoming “Flora Expo Fright Festival,” reminding the public to come to the Flora Expo this Saturday to join the festivities. The “Flora Expo Fright Festival,” to be held on October 26th at the entrance plaza of the Yuanshan Park area of the Flora Expo, will feature a series of fun and exciting activities to bring the atmosphere of Halloween to the public. In addition to the “Trick or Treat Haunted Halloween Market,” there will also be a weird costume contest, a Halloween parade, special ghost makeup experiences & DIY pumpkin painting, street performer scare carnivals, and a grand finale concert by popular singers.
