On the morning of November 1, an earthquake and a sudden strong gust of wind caused the yellow duck to burst! To allow visitors during the holiday to see the yellow duck, permission has been granted by Kaohsiung City to lend out the "Kaohsiung Edition Little Yellow Duck" for display. The organizers have initially planned to unveil the duck on the 2nd in front of the duck exhibition area plaza, where winds are lighter, allowing the public to meet the duck first. In the future, depending on weather conditions, they will consider returning the duck to the pond for display.

Immediately after the incident, the Taoyuan County Government contacted the Kaohsiung City Government to borrow the duck for a new exhibition. In addition to Kaohsiung City’s willingness to lend the duck, Florentijn Hofman, the creator and rights holder of the yellow duck, also gave authorization for this. The Taoyuan organizers have initially planned to create a land-based exhibition environment in front of the duck exhibition area plaza on the 2nd, where winds are lighter, to let the public meet the duck first. In the future, depending on weather conditions, they will consider returning the duck to the pond for display.
