New Taipei Hot Spring Food Festival: “Hot Spring Mini Dumplings” Make a Warm Debut

As the weather turns cooler and hot spring season arrives, the New Taipei City Government has gathered 66 local hot spring businesses to host the Hot Spring Food Festival. The event features hot spring and food information from areas including Jinshan, Wanli, Wulai, Xindian, Tamsui, and Bali, offering a variety of discounted package deals for visitors. It also debuts the “New Taipei Hot Spring Mini Dumplings,” which go on sale at 11:00 AM on the 4th at the Civic Plaza in front of the city government building.

The New Taipei City Tourism and Travel Bureau stated that the Hot Spring Food Festival combines hot spring bathing, gourmet food, accommodation, travel itineraries, creative first works, and sightseeing factory discounts, all packaged as the “New Taipei Hot Spring Mini Dumplings.” Priced at NT$128 per set, each includes a “Good Times Hot Spring Handbook,” a small towel for use in the hot springs, and NT$588 in consumption vouchers. These vouchers can be used as cash during the hot spring season, with discounts of up to 56% off on accommodations worth up to NT$10,000.

To complement the event, the Tourism and Travel Bureau has specially launched the “New Taipei Hot Spring Dance.”Event websiteVisitors can watch the hot spring dance online, imitate or creatively adapt the dance moves, take photos or record videos, and upload them for a chance to win accommodation vouchers worth over NT$10,000 or luxury hot spring room vouchers valued at NT$3,000.

The Hot Spring Mini Dumplings go on sale at 11:00 AM on the 4th at Civic Plaza, with each person allowed to purchase one set upon presenting an ID, limited to 1,500 sets. They can also be ordered via the event’s official website. The Tourism and Travel Bureau also noted that visitors can download the “Good Times Notebook” and merchant discount packages from the website to learn more about the detailed package itineraries of the Hot Spring Food Festival.
